McKenzie’s work is a hybrid of powerful storytelling and a deeper connection with our natural world and each other. She has traveled the world producing documentaries, television series, commercials and branded content. She’s created a cross-platform experience and film on the world’s newest thru hike in New Zealand - while hiking the trail, wrote and produced television programs that won 4 Emmy Awards, interviewed and filmed A-list celebrities such as Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Mia Hamm and Laird Hamilton, produced content for top networks including National Geographic, and found time for her own global human-powered explorations along the way, traveling through 6 continents and many long distance voyages by foot and bicycle.
McKenzie believes that stories are the catalyst for change and are the secret ingredient to cultivating deeper connection with all living beings on our precious planet. After all, the art of storytelling has forever been woven into the fibers of our being.
