The creator of Wild Yatri, Mac, has over 10 years of experience in the film production industry. Her motion picture projects have taken her to the depths of the sea with tiger sharks Cocos Island and navigating the jaguar jungles of Costa Rica filming wildlife for National Geographic, down the length of New Zealand filming a first-ever documentary of the world’s newest thru hike, to Iceland’s glaciers on a cold weather surf expedition, and around the globe filming iconic interviews with Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Mike Tyson, Mia Hamm, Laird Hamilton. Her experience ranges from working on the brand side at Nike to heading an experiential marketing campaign for Sony; the agency side at 72andSunny in Los Angeles; and on the production side working on nationally syndicated series for Fox Sports and Madison Square Garden, field producing for award-winning documentary feature films, and ultimately starting her own global production company pitching original content and filming documentary series and films for National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD and Outside Television, among many others.
Mac now freelances as a Film Production Consultant, guiding kindred filmmakers in building their own production company and helping their projects from script to screen.
