A long time ago I began to ask one question as often as possible: “why?” This forced me to question the most minute activities of my existence and, ultimately, my spiral path keeps leading me back to storytelling in different forms — documentary film, art, and writing.

So this is my concoction of human powered long distance voyages and global travel blogging, and write what I want to see more of in the world. I strive for truth. I aim to weave words into a fabric of meaning. I hope to open your eyes and mind to fresh perspectives, cultures, and explorations full of bravado.

More stories, less stuff.

I created this blog because I want to read more tales written by Earth’s adventurers. Because I value the opinions of those who think differently and want to share them. Because I have hope that humanity will find a way to progress but also not forget the lessons of our past. Because I value truth over money and nature over materialism. Because in our short existence on this spinning blue planet in the galaxy, I hope to continue to grow the seeds of our ancestors — the ripple effect of stories. After all, writing is in our DNA. It’s our oldest and truest way of passing down information and inspiring voyages onward. I aim not to give advise, not to point direction, not to tell you What to think. Rather, I aim to highlight different ways of How you can think, and try to ignite your own Why in this world.
